Merger Details

Effective February 1, 2005, Calpine Natural Gas Trust merged with Viking Energy Trust with Viking Energy Trust being the surviving company. Unitholders of Calpine Natural Gas Trust received 2 units of Viking Energy Trust for every unit of Calpine Natural Gas Trust held.
