Merger Details

Effective February 13, 2008, Focus Energy Trust merged with Enerplus Resources Fund with Enerplus being the surviving fund. Unitholders of Focus Energy Trust received 0.425 units of Enerplus Resources Fund for each unit of Focus previously held. Focus unitholders of record on January 31, 2008 received the scheduled Focus distribution on February 15, 2008 of $0.14 per unit.
